The

CORPS (OWMRC) is an organization

Federal law requires that all
MRC members have basic training in
the Incident Command System (ICS),
along with an introduction to the
National Incident Management System
(NIMS). In order to volunteer as a
first responder with the MRC you
must complete two courses:
IS-100
Introduction to Incident Command
Systems
IS-700
National Incident Management System
(NIMS), An Introduction
These
courses are offered on the FEMA
Independent Study webpage:

Okaloosa CHD does
not respond to community emergencies
alone. We have fostered a strong
working relationship and partnership
with your community service
providers such as the hospitals,
local law enforcement, and emergency
management. |
