Healthy Beaches Monitoring Sites - Environmental Health
*NOTE:  The Okaloosa County Health Department continues to monitor bacteria levels in beach water, however the Healthy Beaches program does NOT monitor the water quality as a result of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

Environmental specialists test the waters of 12 Okaloosa County beaches each week. Depending on the bacteria levels, a swimming advisory may be issued and posted signs are used to advise the community and tourists.  Learn more...
