Employee Training
Emergency planning and response in public health preparedness is
not a one-time event. It is a continual cycle of planning, training,
exercising, and revision that takes place throughout the four phases
of the emergency management cycle (preparedness, response, recovery,
and mitigation).
Training
is a key feature of ensuring that staff is prepared to handle and
respond to emergency situations. Here you will find required
trainings as well as many optional training opportunities to enhance
your response skills.
Most of the training can be completed through Trak-It. IS 300 and IS
400 are upper level trainings that require in-class attendance with
an instructor and are not available through Trak-it.
Trak-It is an automated system that provides web-based standardized
training content, web-assisted testing, online registration,
employee (student) training histories and various reports including
employee reports for supervisors.
Trak-It supports our mission to assure that the people of Florida
are protected with a well-trained, informed and educated
professional workforce.
